Corpus Christi Catholic School participates in the National School Lunch Program, which requires that schools offer free or reduced-price meals to eligible children. All students may participate in the meal programs but must meet certain criteria to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Reduced price lunches are $0.40.
Eligibility for free and reduced-price meals is determined based upon several factors. Children in households receiving benefits from SNAP or TANF as well as those who are foster children are eligible for free meals regardless of household income. Children who are homeless, runaway, or migrant also qualify for free meals.
Children may also qualify for free or reduced-priced meals based on household income which takes into consideration the number of people living in the household and all forms of income. Families with incomes at or below 130 percent of the poverty level are eligible for free meals. Those with incomes between 130 percent and 185 percent of the poverty level are eligible for reduced-price meals.
If you believe your household would qualify for free or reduced-price meals, please submit an application for meal benefits whether your student(s) is/are opting for in-person or online learning.
A meal application must be completed each school year to apply for free and reduced meal benefits.
Complete one application per household.
Include all people living in your household on the application.
